We have organic produce including artichokes, beets, cauliflower and broccoli. Our fresh berries include organic strawberries, red and golden raspberries and blackberries.

Rodriguez Farms started in 1991 with 3 acres of strawberries along the coast in Watsonville, CA. overlooking the ocean. This was a dream come true for Patricia Rodriguez,  since she had been working at farmer’s markets for her dad’s employer as a vendor since high school.Patricia’s husband was working for a strawberry farm and had some experience in growing berries in Mexico before coming to the U.S.. With their experience and ambition to start our own business they took a chance and ventured into the farming world.

Our goal has been to grow quality fruit and offer the best to our customers. Every year we learn and make changes to ensure we are growing the best berries, it helps to be farming in the best soil and weather for strawberries. Our business depends on our customers, we have been very successful in farmer’s markets, our customers keep coming back and new ones have helped us grow to a 60 acre farm. Also due to the demand of our customers we have added a wide variety of berries and vegetables. We currently farm in Watsonville and Castroville,CA. along the ocean side.

Since 2004 we have been certified organic with C.C.O.F, U.S.D.A and Davis Fresh. Every year we test and make changes to use natural practice in farming. We are proud to say we have created a vacuum system used with a tractor to vacuum pests from our plants and avoid use of any type of product for this. We also grow other plants that are beneficial to organic farming. Our farm is 75% organic and 25% (one separate parcel) is in transition, by 2015 our goal is to be a 100% organic farm. For the future we continue with the same goal from when we started, to provide the best to our customers.
